This year’s VYBZING Youth Forum for Development was held in Providenciales in the Turks and Caicos Islands. The theme for this year’s forum was VYBZING and Social Networking: Connecting to the Development Dialogue. The key presenter is Dr. Kim Mallalieu, Head of the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of the West Indies St. Augustine Campus.
For the first time in VYBZING’s history an essay and poster competition was held in the Turks and Caicos Islands. The winning posters and essays along with all of the entries can be viewed via the links on the right. Prizes were awarded for first, second and third places, respectively. The students were asked to write or visually present on the topic ICTS: Bridging the Economic, Cultural and Political Gap.
This initiative is just the beginning. There are even more exciting initiatives in store! Stay tuned to this page for information about the development of the VYBZING Social Network!
