Technical Cooperation Division

Mission: To lead the Caribbean Development Bank’s efforts to build capacity, transfer knowledge and skills, and strengthen institutions in Borrowing Member Countries (BMCs) by working closely with other Divisions, BMCs and development partners.

The Technical Cooperation Division (TCD) serves as the focal point within the CDB for operationalizing and monitoring its Technical Assistance Policy and Operational Strategy. The Division also serves as the focal point for coordinating the Bank’s Regional Corporation and Integration (RCI) activities. TCD’s role incorporates the management of Technical Assistance to support initiatives related to RCI, Governance and Institutional Development (GOVID), the Caribbean Technological Consultancy Services (CTCS), and training in Public Policy Analysis and Management and Project Cycle Management (PPAM/PCM). Through technical cooperation and partnership development, technical assistance is provided by the Division in the following areas:

Through the work of the Technical Cooperation Division, the CDB is able to execute its strategic goals for Borrowing Member Countries which include the support of fiscal and debt sustainability, economic growth, social development and sustainable development. The Division’s assistance also promotes good governance and fosters inclusive social development.
