The CDB operates various programmes across strategic sectors such as the Disaster Risk Management (DRM) and Basic Needs Trust Fund (BNTF).  These programmes focus on disaster mitigation and poverty reduction respectively.  The Projects Department plays a supervisory role in these programmes providing among other things technical assistance to personnel involved at the local level in the Borrowing Member Country where the relevant programme operates.
 
In addition to these programmes there are projects approved throughout the year in a wide cross-section of sectors.  Pipeline Projects are projects under consideration.  A listing of approved projects can be found here.
