Overview
The Government of the Co-operative Republic of Guyana (GOGY) has received financing by way of a grant from the Caribbean Development Bank (CDB) towards the cost of Phase 1 of the Programme to strengthen the Institutional Framework and Capacity for Development Planning in Guyana.
Payments by CDB will be made only at the request of GOGY and upon approval by CDB, and will be subject in all respects to the terms and conditions of the Financing Agreement. The Financing Agreement prohibits withdrawal from the financing account for the purpose of any payment to persons or entities, or for any import of goods, if such payment or import, to the knowledge of CDB, is prohibited by a decision of the United Nations Security Council taken under Chapter VII of the Charter of the United Nations. No party other than GOGY shall derive any rights from the Financing Agreement or have any claim to the proceeds of the Financing.
Eligiblity
Consultants from Guyana and other member countries of CDB will be eligible to participate in these procurement opportunities.
Instructions
The following consultancy assignment will be procured under the project:
Support to enhance capacity for medium-to-long term development planning in Guyana, taking into account the changing economic landscape.
It is expected that this will be procured during the period May 22, 2018 – August 31, 2018.
