Despite the Caribbean’s social and economic progress, too many people still face the challenges of poverty (76% of people in Haiti and an average of 26% in other Caribbean countries). CDB is meeting that challenge in partnership with communities throughout the region, offering much needed loans, grants, equity investments, guarantees, policy advice, and technical assistance.
