CDB and Canada discuss Caribbean development

Dr. Warren Smith (second left), President of Caribbean Development Bank (CDB) along with Mrs. Yvette Lemonias Seale, Vice-President (Corporate Services) and Bank Secretary (second right) were part of the CDB team which met with (L-R) Ms. Diane Jacovella, Assistant Deputy Minister, Global Issues and Development and Mr. David Morrison, Assistant Deputy Minister, Americas of Canada's Department of Foreign Affairs, Trade and Development (DFATD); as well as Dr. Gail Miller, Canadian director to the Board of CDB. Dr. Smith provided the DFATD team with an update on new initiatives at CDB and discussed ways of deepening CDB's relevance and capacity to provide solutions to the challenges being faced by the Bank's borrowing member countries.
