IFI Admin Meeting

April 12, 2010 No. 12/10-G CDB HOSTS IFI HEADS OF ADMINISTRATION MEETING This week, the Heads of Administration of International Financial Institutions (IFIs) located in Africa, Asia, the Caribbean, Europe, the Middle East and North America will be meeting in Barbados to discuss matters of mutual interest. The meeting will be hosted by the Caribbean Development Bank (CDB) from April 14 to 16. CDB's Vice-President (Finance), Mr. Neville Grainger, will give the welcome address when the meeting opens on Wednesday morning at the Hilton Barbados. The Heads of Administration have responsibility for management of the facilities of the IFIs, including areas such as procurement, maintenance and security. Some of the topics to be addressed during the meeting are: Haiti Crisis Response, Green/Sustainable Procurement, and Facilities Management. The IFIs to be represented are: African Development Bank, Asian Development Bank, European Central Bank, Inter-American Development Bank, International Finance Corporation, International Monetary Fund, Islamic Development Bank and the World Bank.
