The Caribbean Development Bank (CDB) has announced the launch of a dedicated microsite, www.caribank.org/44th-annual-meeting for its 44th Annual Meeting of the Board of Governors to be held May 28 -29, 2014 at the Guyana International Conference Centre, Georgetown, Guyana. Head of Corporate Communications, Mrs. Klao Bell-Lewis notes, "The microsite will serve as a quick reference point for delegates and interested persons on the specifics of the meeting. It will be a repository of articles, photographs, videos, presentations and seminar documents shared during the meeting, inclusive of our 2013 Annual Report. The pre-recorded and written statements by the Governors will also be accessible via the site." Information about pre-Annual Meeting activities such as the 2014 VYBZING Youth Forum, the 15th William G. Demas Memorial Lecture and the Caribbean Technological Consultancy Services (CTCS) Network Consultation Meetings is also provided on www.caribank.org/44th-annual-meeting. The microsite has been designed to provide key information in an easy-to-navigate, user-friendly format. It is segmented into four main sections: About the Annual Meeting, Agenda, Governors' Statements and Newsroom. About the Meeting features information about the host country, registration guidelines and media accreditation details, while the Agenda provides scheduled activities by day and category, as well as seminar overviews. Governors' Statements serves as a highly visible, quickly accessible link to statements issued during both the opening and closing ceremony. Publications, stories, photos, videos and presentations from the Meeting and its pre-activities can be accessed via the Newsroom. The site will remain up until July 30, 2014.
