On Thursday, November 8, 2012, Israel's Ambassador to Barbados, His Excellency Amiram Magid paid a courtesy call on the Caribbean Development Bank's President, Dr. Warren Smith. His Excellency is accompanied by the Israeli Honorary Consul in Barbados, Mr. Bernard Gilbert. Ambassador Magid is stationed in New York, and accredited to several Caribbean countries. He has stated his intention to "lend his voice to issues on behalf of CARICOM during his tour of duty".
