The Government of the Commonwealth of Dominica (GoCD) has received financing allocated from the resources of the (UK) Caribbean Infrastructure Partnership Fund through the Caribbean Development Bank (CDB) and from the Special Funds Resources of CDB, towards the cost of the Rehabilitation of Loubiere to Bagatelle Road - Phase I Loubiere to Grand Bay Road and intends to apply a portion of the proceeds of this financing to eligible payments for the infrastructure works.

The Project is being implemented by the Climate Resilience Execution Agency for Dominica (CREAD) on behalf of the Ministry of Public Works & the Digital Economy (MPWDE).

An Invitation to Bid for this component was previously issued to prequalified contractors in the first quarter of 2022. However, the process has been annulled as no acceptable tender was received.

In an effort to increase participation, a short virtual session to raise awareness of the project will be held 9am – 11am on Thursday, 27-Oct-2022. This session will highlight the scope and phasing of the works, the financial and experience requirements, and the schedule for tendering and award.
