The Caribbean Development Bank’s 2025 Annual Procurement Report highlights the Bank’s continued transformation of procurement into a strategic driver of development, resilience, and value for money across its Borrowing Member Countries. The report outlines key achievements in procurement reform, capacity building, private sector engagement, and the integration of sustainability, gender responsiveness, and innovation into procurement practices.
In 2025, CDB advanced the modernisation of its procurement systems through enhancements to its digital procurement platform, BRIDGE Vendor Registry, and Project Procurement Reporting Database (PPRD), strengthening transparency, efficiency, and stakeholder engagement. The Bank also expanded support for national procurement reforms, professional training, and regional collaboration, while contributing to multilateral development bank initiatives on sustainable procurement, value for money, and the use of national procurement systems.
The report provides detailed insights into procurement performance, including 182 contract awards valued at USD 82.7 million, regional supplier participation, country-level procurement activity, and sector trends. It also highlights CDB’s ongoing efforts to build procurement capacity, foster private sector participation, and strengthen procurement systems that support sustainable and inclusive development across the Caribbean.
