CDB understands the potential of trade to boost the Region’s economic growth and competitiveness. The Bank helps expand the export capacity of the Region, provides education and training in trade, and promotes sound trade policy.
 
CDB’s work includes supporting effective trade policy and planning; helping Governments overcome technical barriers to trade; simplifying and harmonising export procedures; support to customs departments and other border agencies; and support to regional trade agreements.
