On November 24, 2021, the Board of Executive Directors of the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) approved a loan to the Caribbean Development Bank (CDB) of an amount of up to the equivalent of fifty million (mn) United States dollars (USD50,000,000) (the Loan) for inclusion in CDB’s Special Funds Resources (SFR), The purpose of the Loan shall be for on-lending to the following Organisation of Eastern Caribbean States (OECS) member countries - Antigua and Barbuda, Dominica, Grenada, St. Kitts and Nevis, Saint Lucia and St. Vincent and the Grenadines, or in the case of Component II, as detailed in paragraph 1.07 below, to eligible Development Financial Institutions [(DFIs) (Eligible Borrowers)], with a sovereign guarantee, to enhance disaster and climate change resilience in those countries (the Programme).
