                               Summary
This project will improve agricultural production and productivity in St. Catherine and Clarendon. The project will upgrade the irrigation and drainage, roads and post-harvest handling facilities on 795 hectares of Government-owned lands in Amity Hall and Bridge Pen (St. Catherine) and Parnassus (Clarendon). Farmers will also be offered training in climate smart agriculture and certification in international standards in good agricultural practices. A matching grant scheme will assist small-scale farmers from disadvantaged groups to invest in on-farm irrigation equipment and agri-business ventures.
