Overview

WHO WE ARE

The Government of the United Kingdom, through the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office, has provided £350 million to build climate-resilient economic infrastructure in the Caribbean. The United Kingdom Caribbean Infrastructure Fund (UKCIF) has provided grant funding for infrastructure projects in seven ODA eligible Caribbean countries and one UK Overseas Territory: Jamaica; Guyana; Belize; Dominica; Grenada; St Lucia; St Vincent and the Grenadines; and Montserrat. UKCIF also funded two projects in Antigua and Barbuda which graduated from ODA eligibility in January 2022.

UKCIF is   boosting sustainable growth in these countries, and supporting improved livelihoods, poverty reduction and safer conditions for citizens. The programme is due to close at the end of December 2026.
