WHO WE ARE

The Government of the United Kingdom, through the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office, has provided £350 million to build economic infrastructure in the Caribbean. The United Kingdom Caribbean Infrastructure Fund (UKCIF) provides grant funding for infrastructure projects in eight Caribbean countries eligible for Overseas Development Assistance, and one UK Overseas Territory. CDB is the implementing partner for the Fund. The programme will encourage growth in these countries, and support improved livelihoods, poverty reduction and safer conditions for citizens.
