Overview

CDB’s investments in agriculture and its related activities focus on improving productivity and sustainability within the sector in order to reduce the Region’s food import bill and end poverty.  Interventions are country-specific, and respond to trends and issues in the regional sector.  Governments, financial and research institutions are the main beneficiaries of CDB funding in this area.
