In accordance with the authority delegated by the Board of Directors at its Two Hundred and Eighty-Third Meeting (Minute 283.27), the President approved a grant to the Caribbean Community (CARICOM) of an amount not exceeding the equivalent of one hundred and forty-three thousand United States dollars (USD143,000) from the Special Funds Resources of the Caribbean Development Bank (CDB) to support the dissemination of data from the Population and Housing Census in CDB’s borrowing member countries which are member countries of the CARICOM Single Market and Economy. The grant will also seek to improve the availability and accessibility of regionally comparable census data, starting with the digitalisation of data from the 2010 census.
