Summary

The Country Strategy Engagement for Dominica outlines the Caribbean Development Bank's strategic partnership with the Government of the Commonwealth of Dominica to support the country's vision of becoming the world's first climate-resilient nation. The strategy focuses on four priority areas: social development, economic transformation, climate resilience and environmental sustainability, and institutional strengthening, with targeted investments in youth development, MSME growth, climate-smart agriculture, renewable energy, resilient infrastructure and public sector governance.

With an indicative financing envelope of USD 122.6 million, the strategy aims to strengthen human capital, expand economic opportunities, build climate resilience, improve disaster preparedness, and enhance public sector effectiveness. Through a combination of financing, technical assistance and policy support, the programme seeks to advance sustainable economic growth, environmental stewardship and inclusive development across Dominica.
