Flagship Study: Access to Finance for Women-led MSMEs in the Caribbean
Summary

This report is part of the Investment Climate Reform (ICR) Facility’s technical assistance to the Caribbean Development Bank (CDB).

The CDB, with the assistance of the ICR Facility, commissioned this study to produce relevant, high-quality knowledge and data on women-owned/led micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (WMSMEs) in the Caribbean.

The study is also meant to provide evidence and recommendations on how to create an ecosystem that promotes the expansion of WMSMEs by facilitating access to economic opportunities, and to investment for additional capital and financing to grow their businesses and identify the priorities that can be supported by the Bank’s SheTrades Caribbean Regional Hub.
