The Special Development Fund (SDF) Contributors have agreed in their meetings on SDF 7 to date that there would be four core themes for the SDF 7 replenishment. Three of these set the strategic focus for the operational programme. They are Poverty Reduction and the Millennium Development Goals, Environmental Sustainability and the Climate Change Agenda, and Regional Cooperation and Integration. Separate papers are being submitted on each of these three strategic operational themes. This paper will address the fourth theme, which is Development Effectiveness, including Managing for Development Results (MfDR) and implementing the Paris Declaration.
