The 2020 Annual News Conference was hosted by President, Dr. William Warren Smith. Dr. Smith was joined by Dr. Justin Ram, Director of Economics and Mr. Daniel Best, Director of Projects. 
 
Dr. Smith provided an overview of 2019 regional economic performance and a forecast for 2020. He also discussed the main challenges facing CDB’s Borrowing Member Countries; and outlined recommendations for driving transformation in the Region.
 
An analyst of the Region’s economic challenges and prospects; and recommendations for strengthening implementation in the Caribbean was provided by Dr. Ram.
 
Mr. Daniel Best shared results of CDB-supported projects implemented in 2019 and reviewed planned projects and expected outcomes for 2020.
