Overview

The Government of St. Vincent and the Grenadines (GOSVG) has received financing from the Caribbean Development Bank (CDB) in an amount equivalent to US $9,046,000 towards the cost of National Disaster Management – Rehabilitation and Reconstruction December 2013 Trough Event Project and intends to apply the proceeds of this financing to eligible payments under contracts procured under this project.  Payments by CDB will be made only at the request of GOSVG and upon approval by CDB, and will be subject in all respects to the terms and conditions of the Financing Agreement.  The Financing Agreement prohibits withdrawal from the financing account for the purpose of any payment to persons or entities, or for any import of goods, if such payment or import, to the knowledge of CDB, is prohibited by a decision of the United Nations Security Council taken under Chapter VII of the Charter of the United Nations.  No party other than GOSVG shall derive any rights from the Financing Agreement or have any claim to the proceeds of the Financing.

 

Eligiblity

Consultants, Contractors and Suppliers from member countries of CDB will be eligible to participate in these procurement opportunities.

Instructions

The following consultancy services assignments will be procured under the project:

  1. Landslide Risk Assessment Study and Engineering Services;
  2. Road Rehabilitation and Upgrade Study;
  3. Engineering Design and Supervision;
    1.  Immediate Mitigation Works
    2. Infrastructure Rehabilitation and Upgrade
  4. Project Coordinator;
  5. Project Engineer;

 It is expected that these will be procured during the period October 2014 to December 2015.

The following works will be procured under the project:

  1. Works Package 1a and 1b – Immediate Mitigation Works
  2. Works Package 2 – Infrastructure Rehabilitation and Upgrade

It is expected that these will be procured during the period October 2014 to December 2015

The following goods will be procured under the project:

  1. Hydrometric Equipment;

It is expected that these will be procured during the period September 2014 to September 2016.
