The Caribbean Development Bank’s (CDB) Office of Independent Evaluation (OIE) has unveiled a new web presence, establishing a focal platform to make evaluation findings and other knowledge resources more easily accessible to stakeholders.

The online portal serves as the central hub for independent evaluations of CDB’s strategies, policies, programmes and projects. It makes evidence more accessible to governments, development partners, civil society, and other stakeholders across the Bank’s Borrowing Member Countries, an important step in strengthening transparency, accountability, and learning across CDB’s operations in the Caribbean.

Designed with accessibility and usability at its core, the new web presence offers streamlined navigation, enhanced search functionality, and mobile-friendly access to evaluations, reports, and knowledge products. Grounded in OIE’s mandate to support accountability and continuous improvement, the platform connects evaluation findings directly to decision-making and action.

Our new web presence reflects CDB’s commitment to transparency, continuous learning and connecting knowledge to action.Mr. Roberto La Rovere, Head of CDB’s OIE explained. “By making evaluation findings more accessible, we are empowering stakeholders across the Caribbean to use evidence in shaping policies and programmes that deliver meaningful results.”

The platform introduces several important enhancements designed to improve access, usability, and engagement. At its core is a comprehensive “Evaluation & Resources” section, which serves as a basis for a one-stop platform for evaluation reports, management response action plans, briefs, and knowledge products.

In addition, a “News & Events” feature provides timely updates on recent developments, learning engagements, and key activities led by the OIE or delivered in collaboration with partners. This element aims to keep stakeholders abreast of ongoing evaluation work and highlight opportunities for dialogue and knowledge exchange across the region. Also, the portal’s User-Centered Design offers an optimal browsing experience across all access devices.
