The seminar seeks to broaden the discourse among the Bank, its clients and stakeholders on strategic solutions, share best practices, and strengthen commitments to address critical implementation gaps faced by CDB’s Borrowing Member Countries (BMCs).

The seminar is expected to:

• increase awareness among participants of the common factors influencing the success or failure in the implementation of development projects across various sectors and regions and identify additional challenges and practical solutions for improving project implementation.
• Achieve agreement on principles and high-level policy and operational approaches for effective project management; and a commitment to collaboration among stakeholders on ongoing dialogue
• Effect measures to transform implementation delays in the Bank’s BMCs.
