CDB Launches Caribbean Evaluation Space to Cultivate a Generation of Caribbean Leaders in Evaluation
The Caribbean Development Bank’s (CDB’s) Office of Independent Evaluation (OIE) is proud to announce the inaugural Caribbean Evaluation Space (CEvalSpace) 2026 - a premier platform for meaningful dialogue, sharing best practices, and strengthening evaluation capacity throughout the Caribbean.
Scheduled from 1-3 September 2026, and with the aim to “cultivate a generation of Caribbean leaders in evaluation”, CEvalSpace 2026 has been designed to be culturally resonant, immersive, purposeful environment for evaluation and monitoring and evaluation professionals - one that prioritises Caribbean perspectives, knowledge systems, and socio-political realities.
CEvalSpace 2026 will bring together evaluators, development practitioners, government officials, academics, and regional stakeholders to advance the use of credible evidence and independent evaluation in strengthening development effectiveness across the Caribbean.
Participants can expect engaging keynote presentations, interactive plenary and panel discussions, youth and emerging evaluator spotlights, networking opportunities, and context-specific options for impact-driven evaluations in the Caribbean.
